It’s not as crazy as it may seem… unorthodox, sure, but did you know more than 9 million skydives are made annually throughout the world?!

The technology of skydiving equipment has come a long way and you’d be amazed to see who skydives multiple times weekly — people just like me and you. We routinely host doctors, lawyers, engineers, bankers, restauranteurs, servers, mechanics… you name the occupation, we see them. These people wouldn’t be termed as ‘crazy’ and yet they participate in skydiving weekly and love doing it (none of these people have a death wish).

2. It’s Dangerous

We’ll come right out and say it so as not to try and sugar coat anything… you could be killed doing this and many people through the last 50 years have died from skydiving, but the safety statistics for modern day skydiving shows that the risk is measurable and not as dangerous as one may think. The USPA has shared that a tandem skydiving fatality occurs roughly once every 500,000 tandem jumps. This stat shows that the occurrence of your demise is more likely to occur via a lightning strike or by getting stung from a bee.

Nope. Nada. Simply not true. People in their 90s (and even a lady of 101) has a made a skydive. We routinely host guests who present their AARP cards at check-in to see if they qualify for a senior citizen’s discount (sorry, we don’t have a senior rate).
